February 1 – March 15, 2010: Military get free admission with proof of occupation and valid ID

From February 1 through March 15, the Academy will offer free admission to military personnel in honor of their service to our communities and country. To participate, individuals must show proof of occupation and a valid ID at the ticket window. California Academy of Sciences, 55 Music Concourse Drive, Golden Gate Park. As we celebrate our One Year Anniversary, the California Academy of Sciences is delighted to introduce the NEW eTicket program. Over 2.3 million guests have visited the “World’s Greenest Museum” where it is the only place on the planet that brings together a natural history museum, an aquarium, a planetarium and a 4-story rainforest under a 2.5 acre living roof.

The eTicket program is designed to be simple and very user friendly:

· FREE program to your organization

· No ticket inventory to manage

· Your employees/members will not wait in line to purchase tickets

· Your employees/members will receive eTicket discounted prices versus paying general admission price.

· The eTicket program is available 7 days a week / 24 hours

· Access to the eTicket program is via www.calacademy.org/etickets

· A unique User ID & Password will be issued to your organization with a signed contract, to access the eTicket site and process each transaction.

· Your employees/members can purchase eTickets on line. A valid credit card payment is required for all transactions, which your employees/members will book and pay for on line at the discounted price for all ticket types. No check or cash payments are accepted.
