President: Bob has been with the Department for 29 years as a graduate of the 93rd Oakland Police Academy. He has been on the Board for 23 years and was re-elected for his 18th year as the President. Bob has served on almost every committee during his tenure on the Patrol Desk and has worked in Patrol and Traffic. |
Dom has been with the Department for 17 years as a graduate of the 128th Oakland Police Academy. He has been on the Board of Directors for four years. Dom was elected as Vice President this year taking over for Vic Bullock and has served on the OPOA Picnic, Building and Transfer Policy committees. He has worked in homicide, robbery, patrol, cpu and was a FTO. |

Barry has been with the Deparment for eight years as a graduate of the 157th Oakland Police Academy. He has served on the Board of Directors for three years, and was elected this year as the new Secretary taking over for Rudy Villegas. Barry has also served on the Christmas Basket Committee, and participated on Contract Negotiations and is currently working on negotiation for a new transfer policy. Barry's goal is to increase participation by the membership in the OPOA. Barry is assigned to Arson investigations. |
Mike has been with the Department for 11 years and has served on the Board of directors for six years. Mike took over the reigns of Treasurer last year when Viglienzone retired, and was re-elected to Treasurer in 2008. He has served on the Budget, IBT and Mortgage and rent committees. Mike was in the mortgage and commercial banking business for 12 years prior to coming to OPD. His goals for the Board are to best represent the membership and their needs especially as it relates to pay, medical and other benefits and legal issues. |
