are put together for 70 families and then on Christmas Eve, Tuesday December 24th

starting from about 7:30 AM officers load their police cars with food and toys and

deliver them across the city.  The baskets will consist of a complete Christmas

dinner and toys picked for the children.  All toys are donated by Oakland Police

Officers or the Oakland Police Officers Association.

NOTE:

At the Oakland Police Officers’ Association there will be opportunities for the media to meet the Chief of Police, Police Officers, Santa Claus and watch as officers load their police cars for delivery.

The media may follow the officers as they deliver the dinners and toys to the families across the city.
